'Stress Positions' is an evening-length piece intended to evoke, conflate and confuse motifs of torture for the purpose of extracting information (as in the CIA's euphemistically-named "enhanced interrogation techniques") and torture for the purpose of extracting pleasure/pain (a la BDSM). The idea of "stress positions" is also extrapolated into uncomfortable, sexually-charged situations. May 27, 2009.
