Room

For the entire 3 hours of the AUNTS performance event at the Convent of St. Cecilia, I was in an upstairs room taped to the floor with the tape going across my neck. The sound, created by Jarryd Lowder, is the sound of three music boxes played simultaneously, recorded on a hand-held tape recorder and played back at a slower speed. Viewers watched from the doorway and could come and go as they please. Nov. 5, 2009.
