project Judson invasion:

After applying to show my work at Judson Church three times without getting in, I decided to do it anyway. On Mon. Oct. 20, 2008, I did an uninvited guerrilla improvisation in the space following the official performance. The improv. was a movement response to the evening's pieces, performed to their music via a hand-held tape recorder attached to a speaker taped to my chest. Movement Research claims to support "adventurous dance". I think this was pretty adventurous.

Note: This was not out of any resentment towards Movement Research or the selected artists. It was purely out of the desire to do something outside of the organization, the way the Judson Church movement started.
