bio in first person:

This all started with gymnastics, then dance in college. While completing my BA in dance at UNLV, I performed as an acrobat/dancer in the Las Vegas shows, Imagine and Les Folies Bergere, where I learned how to do the same show, two shows a night, six nights a week, and still appear to be alive and genuine. I spent a year and a half in Tokyo working as and aerialist for Disney before traveling to Montréal for creative workshops with Cirque du Soleil. Here I played the role of test-dummy/creative contributor in the building of the multimillion-dollar production that became KA at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.  Once the show opened, I performed as dancer/acrobat/stunt person in KA for two years.  In Dec. 2006 I moved to New York to make my own work. Here I have shown my movement based performance pieces at Studio A.I.R, Green Loft Performance Salon, Triskelion Arts, Abrons Arts Center, Spoke the Hub, the Dumbo Dance Festival, the Cool New York Dance Festival, the New Steps Series, the Bushwick Starr, Dance New Amsterdam, MonkeyTown, Galapagos Art Space, The Living Theatre, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Engine 212, The Secret Theatre, The World Financial Center, Judson Church, Dixon Place, and The Rover Soho.  I have also made unofficial guerrilla appearances in various public spaces.  I met video artist and musician Jarryd Lowder in March 2008, and most of my work since has been a collaboration with him.  Our first full-length piece 'do not disconnect' premiered at the Onyx Theatre in Las Vegas in May 2008.  Exactly a year later, our second evening-length piece 'Stress Positions' premiered as part of the Mixology Series at Roulette in NYC.  In Sept. 2009 I was featured in The L Magazine's "Ten Names You Need to Know in NYC Arts".  Apparently you need to know my name.
